By Public Transport:
From the city centre, Ringsend is served by Bus N. 1, ( Dublin Bus Website )
From the city centre, DART trains may be taken from Connolly Station (Amiens St.) Tara St. Station and Pearse Station (Westland Row).
If you are coming by ferry to DÃºn Laoghaire you can take the DART in direction of the city centre.(Map of Dublin Commuter Train Services)
If you arrive at Heuston Railway Station, take the LUAS (Tram) to Connolly Station and take the DART (see above) or get off the LUAS at O'Connell St. and take Bus 1 at the Sony Centre on Lower O'Connell St.
Also, you could take Dublin Bus Airlink 747 and get off at the 3 Arena venue (The Point) on the East Wall Rd. from where you can make your way across the East Link bridge to Ringsend.
From Dublin Airport take any of the public bus services to the city centre and then take Bus or DART (Commuter Train) to Ringsend.
Dublin Bus Airlink 747 now can bring you to the 3 Arena venue (Point Depot) on the East Wall Rd. from where you can make your way across the East Link bridge to Ringsend.
Another option is to take the privately operated Aircoach service - Route 702 - direction: Greystones . (Tel: (01) 8447118) Disembark at "3 Arena" (the Point Depot) and make your way across the East Link Bridge or disembark at Sean Moore Rd. and come back a short distance via Irishtown Rd. and Bridge St. (Consult Map)
By Foot From City Centre:
Starting at Trinity College, follow the college wall around to College St. and continue into Pearse St. and straight on to Ringsend Rd. and Bridge St. When you cross the bridge over the Dodder River at Bridge St., Thorncastle St. is the first turn on the left. (Consult Map)

Click on the "From here" link and enter your start point (e.g. Cork/ Cardiff/ Bordeaux) and a route will be plotted for you to 16-20 Thorncastle St., Ringsend.
